The team you’ll be part of

Cloud and Network Services

As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, etc or related field with an accredited school in Canada.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

• Work on the Nokia Policy Controller (NPC) product within the Cloud and Network Services business group.
• Be part of the development team working on the next generation of our product which is based on the “Cloud Native” approach.
• Writing python code to help with CI/CD or lab setup.
• Contribute by writing components of the feature and Code java unit tests for feature testing.
• Implement and run system simulator to validate feature integration functionality and data modeling of network policy configurations.

What is Nokia looking for from me

You have:

• Coding experience in one of the following programing languages: Java/Python
• Exposure to Linux/Docker/Kubernetes
• Understanding of Cloud/Containers/Micro-services design principles

It would be nice if you also had:

• A team player with a getting things done attitude
